Top Stitch vs Tacking Strip

Our dining chair covers are fully sewn, top stitched and overlocked and they always will be.

This ensures premium, consistent quality, longevity and visual benefits over the alternative methods.

With back tacking, corners are pleated and panels are stapled off to the frame then hidden behind a tacked on back panel.

Back tacking may be cheaper but it doesn’t meet our strict quality standards.

We have tried making our chairs to a price point once or twice using this method and it never works because we’re never happy with the result.

A world class frame must be matched with world class sewing.

So, for peak comfort and quality, it’s only fully sewn covers here at Mabarrack Furniture,

NEVER back tacked, shark trim, cover fix, tacking strips or whatever it’s called… -Matt
