The sapwood is creamy white, heartwood is light brown to dark chocolate brown, occasionally with a purplish cast and darker streaks. Generally walnut is supplied steamed to darken the lighter sapwood but our walnut is left un-steamed at our request to retain the attractive contrast between heart and sap woods. Veneers only.
